Kenan Yildiz has taken on Juventus. The young Turkish star is, without a doubt, the most talented player on the Old Lady’s roster. He wears the 10 on his shoulders and is the real ace of the team. It is normal that the club wants to armor him and make him the symbol of Juventus for many more years. However, to prevent him from being tempted by other top clubs, a renewal of his existing contract, which expires in June 2029, is needed.

Better to provide some clarity. Kenan Yildiz, at the moment, earns 1.7 million euros a’year (plus some bonuses). A salary that, according to the 2005 talent’s entourage, is too low when considering the value of the Bianconeri number 10. That&#8217s why there would be a request to revise the terms of the current agreement. There are rumors of a request amounting to six million euros per season, the same as what is guaranteed to Jonathan David and, in fact, the maximum salary that the Bianconeri club provides at the salary level for its players.

Recently, Giorgio Chiellini, Juventus Director of Football Strategy, spoke about Kenan Yildiz and his future: “We are not surprised by how much he is doing, there&#8217s great esteem and appreciation for him. He is such a special player who needs a little bit more time than the others, he has a long-term contract and we are convinced that he will be part of Juventus in the future”. The feeling is that that “long-term contract” is not enough to retain him. A considerable economic effort will have to be made.

We need to get down, rather quickly, to a table and find an agreement that satisfies Kenan Yildiz himself.

The Turk is very attached to Juventus. He is comfortable in Turin and feels part of the project but it is clear that there are many top clubs that would come forward should he want to look around.

The Bianconeri fans expect the club to please the Bianconeri 10, not least because he is considered the real soul of the nascent Juventus. Someone like Kenan Yildiz cannot be given up. He is not a viable’option. In short, better hurry up and arrive at a renewal that the Turkish phenomenon likes.
