Ducati: Jorge Martin warns Pecco Bagnaia
Ducati centaur Jorge Martin spoke after taking pole in Australia: “I made a big time.”
Ducati Pramac centaur Jorge Martin enjoys his pole position in Australia: “I was on the limit in front, the lap was very good even if on the second run I was not very good. I did a big time, I’m doing well and in the last few races I’ve been really strong. Tomorrow I hope to have the pace to fight for the podium.”
Now spotlight on the race, where together with Marc Marquez he could be the referee of the World Championship duel between Quartararo and Bagnaia: “Bagnaia? He is the favorite for victory, if there is a fight we will do it but without risking since they are further back in the standings and there is no need to risk.”
Francesco, aka ‘Pecco,’ Bagnaia after winning the Moto2 world championship in 2018 with Sky Racing Team VR46, will make his MotoGpin debut in 2019 riding the Ducati of Team Pramac Racing. In September 2020, he scored his first podium in the top MotoGP category at Misano. The following year he switched to the official Ducati team and finished the championship in second place, behind the French Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo.
