The All Star Game is scheduled for the weekend. It will be held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, home of the LA Clippers with a new format. For the first time, facing each other will be two teams made up of American players and one made up of the best players from the rest of the world. A way to make the weekend more spectacular and increase the level of the competition (a real problem of the last editions).

Unfortunately, there are already several stars who will not take part in the All Star Game’All Star Game. Also on the absentee list is Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg, who suffered a sprained left foot that will keep him out for the entire All-Star Weekend. The Mavs all-star had an MRI after the game with the Phoenix Suns that confirmed the injury. He will return to play after the All Star Game. Probably next Feb. 20 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Not the only one. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also isn&#8217t among the stars who will take the court at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. The reigning MVP is struggling with an abdominal strain that will prevent him from answering the call (he was one of the most anticipated). He hopes to make it to the last Luka Doncic, who is definitely not in the best of shape at the moment.

Whatever it is, the anticipation for the 75th All Star Game in history is sky high. It could be the’last for a legend like LeBron James who, at 41, is set to play, for the umpteenth time, the all-star game. For LBJ, numbers in hand, it will be the 22nd All Star Game of his career, an all-time record.

At the program level, the Three-Point Contest, the Shooting Stars and, most importantly, the Slam Dunk Contest (i.e., the dunk contest), will all take place on the night of Saturday, Feb. 14. The weekend will close with games valid for the NBA All-Star Games. Friday the 13th also makes room for the Celebrity Game.
