Sofia Goggia goes out: she starts strong, just 4 hundredths behind Faith. On one pass, however, she goes too wide, but at the second intermediate she flies: 64 hundredths ahead. She touches a gate, saves herself by a whisker, then makes another mistake and finishes outside.
Elena Curtoni starts well: +13 hundredths at the first intermediate, 19 at the second, where she keeps the pace. In the last stretch she loses something, comes in at +55, and finishes fourth at 77 hundredths from the top, only one hundredth behind Elena Pirovano: both off the podium.
