Enrico Barbolini, renewal with the butterflies of the'UYBA Volleyball Busto Arsizio

UYBA Volleyball Busto Arsizio looks ahead and does so in the sign of continuity: in fact, Enrico Barbolini will be at the helm of the team also in the 2026/27 season. A choice that reaffirms the solidity of the biancorosso technical project and the full confidence of the club in the work done by the coach.

Since his arrival on the staff, Barbolini has made a path of steady growth, progressively strengthening his role within the club. He landed in Busto Arsizio in 2023/24 as an assistant coach and ended the season as head coach by hitting the salvation goal. In 2024/25, still initially as a deputy, he soon took over as head coach, succeeding in turning around the year’s trend and leading the team to sixth place. The current one, 2025/26, on the other hand, is his first season started from the beginning as head coach. A path that testifies to competence, leadership and a strong fit with the UYBA environment.

President Andrea Saini commented with conviction on the decision: “Continuing with Enrico Barbolini was a natural choice. In these years he has shown professionalism, seriousness and great ability to integrate himself into our reality. He has been able to guide the team in delicate moments and guarantee stability to the technical project. This renewal represents a sign of continuity and full confidence in the path we are building together”.

The red and white coach is also satisfied and determined: “I am happy for the trust that the club continues to show me. Busto Arsizio is an environment full of passion and ambition, elements that make the daily work challenging. We will continue to work to grow, improve and consolidate what we have built so far.
