An exceptional press conference in which he participated individually. Many feared that he wanted to unveil his imminent retirement from the scene. Now in his 23rd NBA season, King James is definitely not eternal although, from the way he still plays today, one might even believe he is a Martian.

Obviously, he was asked about his future plans: “Yes, I mean, I want to live. When am I going to retire? When I know, you will also know. I don&#8217t know. I have no idea” his words reported by ESPN. In fact, LeBron James stalled, clearly not answering the many questions about his possible retirement at the end of the season. He admitted that he is interested in investing in a franchise in the future but that he is, at the moment, focused on the game.

The 41-year-old yellow-viola outfielder said his focus is exclusively on the Los Angeles Lakers and would not be thinking at all about his contractual future ($52.6 million). “We are preparing for the playoffs, so I have nothing else on my mind right now. It’s always been that way. Same motivation. Same mental approach. We have passed the marathon, and now the sprint” is about to begin.

In fact, LBJ is convinced that these LA Lakers can do well: “I know that when we have played our best this season, we have done very good things. On the other hand, when we have been bad, we have been disgusting”, his clear words.

In short, LeBron James is focused exclusively on the present, on the court, on his LA Lakers and has no intention of reasoning about what he will do in the immediate future. No one knows yet whether, at the start of next season, he will still be in the starting lineup.
