Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton regains his smile and warns rivals

Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton has regained his smile after the latest Formula 1 tests in Bahrain. The British champion has good feelings about the Italian team’s new single-seater and sent clear signals to his rivals: “I know what to do. This is going to be a damn good season”, he wrote on social media.
“I am motivated again and full of energy. I am not going anywhere, so stick with me. For a moment I forgot who I am, but thanks to you and your support I will not have this attitude”, said the British driver, addressing his fans.
Hamilton had a very bad debut season at Ferrari, with a sixth place in the drivers championship and no podium finishes. But this year’s feelings are different: “It’s inspiring to see how hard a team works to build a car. For me, that is the most fascinating part of this job. Everything is built from scratch and constantly redesigned and revised” he wrote on Instagram.
“I would like to sincerely thank all the team members at the factory for their hard work to reach this milestone! I am really grateful”, Hamilton continued.
Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur had this to say ahead of the Australian Grand Prix: “We go to Melbourne to try to win, just like McLaren, Red Bull and Mercedes. We all have some racing experience and we know that the best test time is not representative of the season. We have to stay calm. The goal of the season will be to develop quickly, so we have to maintain the ability to innovate, to produce quickly and to arrive quickly with updates. The championship will be played on this”.
