Eight disqualified in Serie B: midfield emergency for Empoli'Empoli

The Giudice Sportivo has released the disciplinary measures after the 26th day of Serie B. Among the eight players disqualified, all for an actual day’s match, as many as two from Empoli and Padova. The Azzurri will not be able to count on both Salvatore Elia and Luca Magnino in midfield in Saturday’s match with Cesena at the ‘Castellani’ while the Biancoscudati will have to do without Pietro Fusi and Marco Perrotta in the away match in Modena.

The Giudice Sportivo also halted three coaches: Amedeo Petrazzuolo, Juve Stabia’s goalkeeping coach, and Simone Vergassola, Cesena’s assistant coach, for two days, while Francesco Modesto, Mantova’s coach, for one shift. Finally, sting for Alessandro Consolati, deputy sporting director of Modena, disqualified for three days.

MODESTO Francesco Antonio (Mantova): for having, at the’8th of the second half, vehemently contested a refereeing decision.
