At the Chamber of Deputies – Palazzo San Macuto, the national conference “Sport Heals – Emotional and Environmental Education and the Propulsive Role of Youth Sports” was held, promoted by Emotional & More APS, conceived by President Carmen De Gironimo, at the initiative of Hon. Jacopo Morrone, and sponsored by CONI and CISAMBIENTE Confindustria.

The presentation of the format went beyond the debate, as this national project represents a principle in which listening and responsibility for the person and the environment travel hand in hand and become authentic sharing. Opening the proceedings was Hon. Jacopo Morrone, who believed wholeheartedly in the vision of Lo Sport Cura, recognizing sport as having a fundamental educational, social, and institutional role.

The speakers were the first to speak.

The following gave soul and content to the meeting, with sensitivity and expertise: Giusy Versace, Senator of the Republic and Paralympic athlete, for the human strength and empathy with which she was able to touch everyone’s heart; Tilde Minasi, Senator of the Republic, for her constant attention to issues that are good for people and communities; Laura Lunetta, President FIDESM, always at the side of social campaigns and youth, with an inclusive and concrete vision; Vito Roberto Tisci, President FIGC – Youth and Scholastic Sector, for his daily commitment to the education of children through soccer; Angelo Giliberto, President CONI Puglia, for his presence and determination to spread sport as care and social responsibility; Donato Notarangelo, President CISAMBIENTE Confindustria, for supporting the value of environmental education integrated with sport; Giorgio Gaggioli, Vice President AIC, for a vision of soccer that is not only a profession but also a social mission; Marco Valerio Masi, founder of the System Krav Maga – Security Protection Program, a traveling companion of the Lo Sport Cura project, for his attention to the protection of fragility, youth and women; Simone Perrotta, 2006 World Champion, not only a champion in sport but an authentic example of humanity and values; Antonio Matarrese, UEFA member and former FIGC President, for his presence full of history, affection and deep connection with the world of soccer; Domenico Distante, publisher of Antenna Sud and media partner, friend and constant supporter of the project.

Moderator Fabrizio Caianello guided each speech with balance, fluidity and depth. The absolute stars of the event were the boys of the FIGC SGS, FIGC DCP and FIDESM, who were present in the hall: young athletes who, with their attentive and authentic participation, gave meaning to every word spoken.

The young people of the FIGC SGS, FIGC DCP and FIDESM were present in the hall.

An integral part of the format Lo Sport Cura was the Fragility Moment, during which the boys anonymously shared the message “I feel fragile when…,” and the advocacy and safety education pathways, aimed at youth, women and people with fragility, as tools for awareness, protection and respect.
