Controversy against Jutta Leerdam, her fellow citizens revolt
Jutta Leerdam is among the most popular athletes in the world, and her recent participation in the Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina has further raised her level of fame. The skating champion is participating in many events and, as evidenced by the videos and photos she posts on social media, she has a busy schedule that does not allow her to respond positively to all the invitations she receives.
Recently, the municipality of Westland, of which Jutta‘s-Gravenzande birthplace is a part, invited her to a public ceremony to celebrate her achievements at the Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina but the skater let it be known that she would not be able to attend and the event was skipped. This is the statement from the municipality of Westland released on Facebook: “The municipality of Westland congratulates Jutta Leerdam on her gold and silver medals at the Milan Cortina Olympic Games. What a special achievement”. Sports Councillor Anko Goudsward said: “We would have liked to pay tribute to Jutta in Westland to celebrate this special milestone together. Right now, however, she is very busy and we could not find the right day, too bad”.
In the comments section many of Jutta Leerdam’s fellow citizens vented their anger: “She has reached a very high level of popularity but she should never forget where she comes from, without roots we are nothing” wrote one user. “I find it really sad that she was not able to give a day of availability to our municipality. She grew up here and it would have been a’great opportunity to celebrate her accomplishments” wrote another citizen of ‘s-Gravenzande.
To celebrate the medals she won at the Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina, Jutta Leerdam’s boyfriend Jake Paul gave her a mind-boggling gift. It is a massive customized SUV worth about 500’000 euros: “Only the best for my queen who has worked hard to win the’gold and silver” wrote the boxer in the description of the video recalling his fiancée”s achievements.
In recent days Jake Paul has been criticized very harshly for a post that appeared on his Instagram profile where he shows pictures taken during some hunting trips depicting a deer, an alligator and some dead birds.
