Botman has accepted Newcastle’s offer
One of Milan’s wishes will not come true. Sven Botman, a Dutch defender long liked by the Rossoneri management, will soon be a new Newcastle player.
In fact, Botman decided in the night to accept the English club’s offer, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara trying until the last to bring him to the Rossoneri. Newcastle already had an understanding with Lille for a 40 million deal and the negotiation could close in the evening.
In the morning, the Rossoneri management learned of Botman’s decision and Milan is thus forced to change targets for the defense. The Dutchman’s next league will thus be the Premier League.
