Happy Casa Brindisi announced that it has signed Italian-trained Cameroonian wing/center Jordan Bayehe to a two-year contract.
“Born on 16/10/1999 in Yaoundè – 204 cm by 94 kg – he grew up in the youth sector of Stella Azzurra facing his first professional experiences in Roseto (2018-2020) and Cantù (2020- 2022). In his second season in Legadue at the Roseto Sharks, he earned the nomination of best Under 21 in the league with 11.6 points and 7.1 rebounds. He made his Serie A debut at Pallacanestro Cantù, where he showed off his skills in the top league and recorded a career high of 16 points plus 13 rebounds and 28 rating in the win over Cremona. Last year he recorded an average of 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in A2, touching the promotion faded in game five of the playoff final,” reads the note issued by the white-blue club.
“Summoned for the first time last year by Cameroon, he is still permanently employed in the senior national team ahead of the FIBA World Cup 2023 qualifiers,” the Apulian club’s statement concludes.
