Banchero goes to Virtus, but it’s Frederick

Federico Banchero to Virtus Siena

Virtus Siena’s first stroke of the market, having reached an agreement for the arrival of Federico Banchero, a 2000-class guard who will reinforce coach Franceschini’s outside lineup, to the red and blue.

He grew up basketball in the youth sector of Junior Casale Monferrato, where as a youngster he played the C Gold as well as being aggregated to the first team in the A2 series. In the 2019/20 season he then moved to Serie B at Sangiorgese Legnano, then split the following season between Lombardy’s C Silver and A2 in Tortona. Last year he finally returned to Casale Monferrato, winning the Piedmont C Gold championship.
