Alberto Gilardino, 40 on Tuesday, reviews his career.
Alberto Gilardino in an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport looked back on his career: “I had a lot of personal and collective satisfaction, in an era full of fantastic strikers. I reflect on it sometimes: now there is no great competition.”
At Parma from 2002 to 2005, Gilardino revealed that the best attacking partner he had was during the ducal period: “The partner I got on best with was Domenico Morfeo, he understood me on the fly.”
On his experience at AC Milan: “2 excellent years, the third less so. Competition was not a problem, but I needed a team that would enhance my characteristics.”
