Antonio Cabrini demolishes soccer’s Azzurre.
Antonio Cabrini, former technical commissioner of the national women’s soccer team, goes down flat while speaking to ANSA microphones about the Azzurre’s adventure at the European championships.
“Let’s try to call a spade a spade, it was a failure,” he says, “everyone will have to take responsibility, starting from the warehouseman to the highest bodies.
“I’m not judging the choices,” he adds, “I’m not in a position to determine the physical condition of the players and judge the choices. For this there is a technical commissioner. Now they will all have to make a good examination of conscience.”
Many, on the web, lashed out, even crassly against Milena Bertolini. Who despite the continental flop should remain in her place: qualification for the World Cup is just a step away.
