For the first time, the national teams of a sports discipline will take the field wearing the blue jersey with the rainbow logo.

After Mazzanti’s Azzurri at the VNL Finals in Turkey, De Giorgi’s Azzurri will also wear the new blue jersey, a unique opportunity to launch an important message of inclusion, which the Federation and its sponsor want to convey in a strong and decisive way, for a world without barriers, neither physical nor mental, to go beyond all diversity, so that new generations can live in a more sustainable world.

The jersey was handed over as a preview to the Minister for Equal Opportunities and Family, Elena Bonetti, by Italian Volleyball Federation President Giuseppe Manfredi and Nazzarena Franco AD DHL Express Italy, together with Men’s National Team Captain Simone Giannelli.

The initiative will be repeated at the International Tournaments to be held in Italy: men’s tournament in Cuneo from August 18 to 20, women’s tournament in Naples from September 12 to 15.
