He lost the Hamburg final to Musetti
Carlos Alcaraz is the only non-Italian player among the semifinalists of the ATP 250 tournament in Umag, and he wanted to make a confession just about Italian tennis players.
In fact, in the press conference Alcaraz surprised everyone: “I have nightmares when I face Italian players,” thus the Spanish tennis player, “but I will still try to show my best version and make it to the final.
“It means a lot to me to have the chance to reach the number four position in the rankings,” added Alcaraz. “It’s great for me. I feel comfortable playing here and I have a lot of confidence right now.”
The Spaniard lost just a few days ago the final of the Hamburg tournament to an Italian tennis player, Lorenzo Musetti.
