Premier League unmatched: spent €1.8 billion in the market
The Sun “photographs” the economic power of the Premier League
To date (so with the market still in full swing), the Premier League is the league with the most money invested. As reported by The Sun, Premier League clubs have already spent 1.54 billion pounds (about 1.8 billion euros).
An insane amount made possible only by the wealth that “governs” the English top league. Chelsea is the club that has spent the most (179.1 million pounds), followed by Nottingham Forest (141.9) and Manchester United (131.2, 60 for Casemiro alone). Conte’s Tottenham is seventh in total spending (104.3 million). There is only one club that has not invested a single pound: Leicester.
