Andrea Belotti to Roma: Tiago Pinto turns out.
In all likelihood Andrea Belotti, now released, will settle at Roma. Contacts between the capital club and the entourage have been going on for weeks and it seems that a square has finally been found.
To Sky Sport Tiago Pinto had this to say about the matter, “On the market I understand people’s curiosity. What they have understood is that when a problem happens, we immediately find a solution. We did that last season. Until the end of the market we will work together to have a stronger team than last season. They can have confidence.”
The Giallorossi general manager also spoke about Georginio Wijnaldum’s injury: “It was a really difficult 24 hours to deal with. We all worked hard, me as ds and the whole club, to get Gini. In two weeks he fitted in very well here, it felt like he had been in Rome for a year. His injury was very unfortunate, but he responded with a smile and was the first to approach him in the right way. I think he will be our big January reinforcement. We have had him all season and we will wait for him.”
In closing, an opinion on the Europa League draw: “When we get to this level in Europe it is always difficult. Betis is a team we know that had a great season last season, we had the opportunity to play them in the summer. It will be an important challenge. It is a competitive group, but we are here to move forward.”
