Big scare for Dusan Tadic: the Ajax star was attacked a few days ago while returning home after having dinner with a friend. Revealing the incident was the player himself: “I had gone out to dinner with a friend in a restaurant, when I came home two men tried to attack me. Although I was dressed formally I was faster, but then they took the scooter and caught up with me.”

“The next minute we were fighting,” the Mirror reported. “Moving left and right I pushed them away a bit, I even hit one of them. The other one grabbed me from behind by the throat but I managed to elbow him. It is only in hindsight you realize that things could have been different, but in the very moment you are full of adrenaline and go into battle without thinking about it. Even if they had three firearms I would never give up my pride. I was born in Serbia and I fought a lot as a child.”

“It happens too often, and not only to soccer players,” Tadic continued, “If people continue to feel unsafe they will leave the area where they live. Yes, me too, because the welfare of my family comes first. I hope that this unpleasant story will end soon. We now have private security and have also taken other precautions, about which the police will not let me say anything.”
