Paolo Beltramo agrees with Enea Bastianini and spurs Pecco Bagnaia: “Ducati is the best bike.”

Paolo Beltramo, interviewed exclusively by Sportal.it, spoke about Pecco’s concrete chances of winning the World Championship and the last Grand Prix, in Aragon, which was won in a sprint by Bastianini right at the expense of Bagnaia.
“The percentages of victory? They are high I would say, because in any case the Ducati seems to be, in fact, by now more than 15 races have passed, there are only five to go, it is the best bike. And after some problems at the beginning, I remember Bagnaia in Qatar, for example, who got zero points, I think he had crashed but complained a little bit about this, let’s say, ‘exaggerated youth,’ in short not yet maturity of the bike. It was 2022, there are few tests, already they had been reduced, there was no more testing at Phillip Island, in short it was a little bit immature here. Then, slowly, they put it in place and it became the best bike of all so much so that more or less all the Ducati riders did exceptional things from Di Giannantonio to Zarco, to Martin, to Miller, to Bastianini, to Marini, to Bezzecchi, here, besides Bagnaia. Bagnaia, before Misano, had so many points behind him. Now he only has 10 and I would say he is very well put, although there will come tracks where Quartararo will defend himself better.”
The well-known Sky journalist then gave reason to the “Beast,” author of the decisive overtake on Bagnaia in the last lap at Aragon: “I think it was right that Bastianini won the race, if he could win it, because still there are no team orders and six races from the end it seems to me a little early to do so and in my opinion the riders, in the end, run to win. If they were from the same team, that’s one thing, but even assuming that Bastianini is paid by Ducati, however, it’s also true that he has the sponsors, the images of Team Gresini racing to win. There are also rewards, probably sponsors for the team, of the team for the riders if they contain wins, podiums…. Then when they are on the bike they don’t think about these things, they just think about doing the best, that is he did well to win in my opinion.”
