Milan, now Conceiçao’s future is really sealed: it will be goodbye

He wanted the Coppa Italia at all costs. It would have been his second trophy of the season at the helm of Milan. Two successes to convince the Rossoneri management that he deserved reappointment. Instead, at Rome&#8217s Olimpico, losing the final to Bologna, Conceiçao realized that his future will not be at the Diavolo.

Already there were strong doubts about whether he would stay even if he won the Coppa Italia. Now, in light of the heavy defeat to the Felsinei (which also prevents direct access to the Europa League), it is clear that confirming the Portuguese coach would be a wrong move. Conceiçao’s adventure is coming to an end. Two more league games, hoping to finish at their best, and then it will be goodbye.

The Diavolo management is reportedly already looking for the right name to rely on for next season. As is well known, in recent weeks, the name of Allegri has often circulated. Watch out also for the De Zerbi option (it would be advocated by several members of the Rossoneri board).

As if that were not enough, Milan must now also figure out how to keep its aces. Should the possibility of not participating in any European competition next year materialize, several players could also ask to leave. Watch out for Reijnders, who has been approached by Manchester City. Also always to be understood is the future of Maignan and Theo Hernandez.
