Carlos Alcaraz reveals who the new Big Three are.
Alcaraz also names Sinner: “But there’s no point in comparing me to them now.”
Carlos Alcaraz, on the sidelines of a press conference called by one of his sponsors, answered a question about the possible new Big Three after Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, now at or near the end (in the case of the Swiss) of their glorious careers.
“It makes no sense at the moment to compare myself with them, I’m 20 years old and just getting started. Who can be considered in the new Big Three besides me? Jannik Sinner without a doubt, and Zverev. With Jannik there will be a good rivalry and it is worth it, we will play in great stadiums and there will be great moments. We are also friends off the court, as for example Nadal and Federer are,” are the words reported by Marca.
“I dreamed of being number one in the world and winning a Slam, but now I want to continue dreaming and winning tournaments, staying among the best as long as possible.”
