Federica Pellegrini, important recognition after an extraordinary career
“It is the crowning achievement of a part of my life,” said the former swimmer.
On the morning of Thursday, Sept. 29, Federica Pellegrini was awarded an honorary degree in Science and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities at San Raffaele University in Rome.
The Italian sports legend said she was very satisfied and enthusiastic about her work. Here are his words, “It is an incredible day, I am really happy. It is the crowning achievement of a part of my life. Bringing a thesis on the menstrual cycle in female athletes, a topic very dear to me, gave me so much satisfaction. What’s in my future? As a sportswoman who has trained a lot, I really believe in meritocracy, I hope to become a good manager by studying a lot.”
“I think it is a priority to help the sports world overcome this impasse and such a difficult time. I feel like saying to help swimming pools in the first place, given the emergency of high bills,” Divina concluded.
