“The water saved me, I realized I could play it,” explained Marc Marquez
Honda centaur Marc Marquez commented to Sky on the Thai GP finished fifth: “The water saved my life: I didn’t wake up well with my arm, I worked a lot in the mobile clinic. When I saw the water this morning I rejoiced, I knew I could play it.”
The Catalan rider struggled with the frontrunners for a long time: “When I saw there were 10 laps to go I started to push hard, but Pecco didn’t leave me room to pass him, I couldn’t do more. I think whoever finished ahead of me had a great race. Honda? It takes time to change the bike, in a race like that you have to be more careful, it’s hard to be consistent.”
