Davide Calabria after injury: ‘Away for some time’
In the match against Empoli, Davide Calabria sustained a proximal myotendinous injury of the hamstring in his right thigh. The injury, which joins those of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexis Saelemaekers and Simon Kjaer, will keep the full-back away from the field for several weeks.
Through an Instagram story, the Rossoneri number 2 wanted to address the Diavolo fans directly: “Thank you all for the messages of affection and esteem that I am receiving in these hours. A stop that I never wanted to face and that unfortunately will keep me away from the fields for some time. I will stay close to my Milan and my teammates as much as I can during this period. See you soon.”
