The Rossoneri infirmary is becoming increasingly crowded

The enthusiasm for the last-gasp victory in Empoli goes day after day in the background at Milan. Indeed, what worries Stefano Pioli and in general the whole Rossoneri environment is the news about injuries of a certain severity, which follow one another day after day: on Sunday came the announcement about Alexis Saelemaekers, on Monday that about Davide Calabria.

The Rossoneri captain’s condition had already been defined as “quite serious” by Pioli in the post-match at the ‘Castellani’ match: the confirmation came after instrumental examinations that, as communicated by the same via Aldo Rossi club, reported “a proximal myotendinous lesion of the femoral biceps of the right thigh.” Bad news for the right sector of the Rossoneri lineup, which loses a key pawn for at least three months.

Milan also announced the results of the examinations carried out on another player who came off badly from Saturday night’s challenge, Simon Kjaer: the low-grade injury to the right hamstring is less serious, but the Dane will still be out for a week before being re-evaluated by doctors.
