Marco Legovich tells his story

Marco Legovich, the youngest coach in Serie A basketball, told ‘Repubblica’ about himself.

“It is a great feeling to sit on a historic bench of Italian basketball, in a square that lives on basketball, and in my city,” said the coach of Pallacanestro Trieste. I got the answers I was looking for: I had not invested ten years of my life in vain. In training I use videos a lot for one-on-one comparison and to understand live the aspects on which to improve. Basketball is made of a thousand details and a coach must be good at declining his methods on the qualities of each one.”

“Basketball got into my blood thanks to my father, a former volleyball player but a sports fan in general, and two players, Tyus Edney, who dominated in Italy with a Treviso jersey, and of course Kobe Bryant,” Legovich added.
