Ducati, Tardozzi issues new warning to Jack Miller
Borgo Panigale team manager issues new warning to Miller
Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi, in an interview with Spanish website ‘AS,’ returned to what the Ducatisti did in Thailand, with Jack Miller hitting second place and Pecco Bagnaia third, now less than two points behind the leader of the rainbow standings and reigning world champion Fabio Quartararo.
“This race was the reaction of the champion. I say that because only a champion like Pecco, after a disaster like the one in Japan, and under water, can do such an outstanding race. Jack was, as always in these conditions, very brave, and as a team we are very, very, very happy,” Tardozzi began.
The Borgo Panigale team executive then returned to the talk about team orders, ahead of the last races, which will see Pecco Bagnaia fighting for the MotoGP: “Miller did not do what Zarco did because he is 40 points behind the leader and he was 0.7 behind Oliveira, fighting for the race, and in the third sector he managed to get to 0.3. If Pecco needs him in the last race, I think Miller will definitely help Bagnaia, but here Miller had to run for himself and think about his chances.”
