F1, Charles Leclerc: all his disappointment in the challenge against Max Verstappen
Ferrari driver returns to challenge with Verstappen
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, in an interview with ‘Il Corriere dello Sport,’ talked about the disappointment of a season that, given the premise, seemed like it could have ended differently and returned to talk about the challenge, seen especially in the first Grands Prix of the World Championship, with Max Verstappen.
“The annoyance is there because the F1-75 had very good performances, but we lost precious points on the road. The right thing to do is to focus on the future: maximize these last results, close well, work on 2023,” said the Monegasque.
“The imponderable is part of our sport and all titles are deserved,” continued Carlos Sainz’s stablemate.
Finally, Leclerc drew comparisons between the reigning world champion and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton: “I don’t know: with Max I have opportunities for comparison that I didn’t have with Lewis. We were too far apart.”
