Cagliari, Serie A sirens sound for a midfielder
Italian champions’ interest in a Cagliari midfielder
Milan is facing an injury emergency, including that of Alexis Saelemaekers, who will be in the pits for an estimated time of around three months.
The Rossoneri are starting to sound out the market ahead of the January session, and one of the names that Maldini and Massara may be considering is that of Nahitan Nandez.
The Italian champions, in fact, could put in their sights the Cagliari midfielder, already sought by other top clubs, including Inter, when the islanders were still in Serie A. For the Rossoblù, the Uruguayan player’s value is around 10 million euros.
The Sardinian club would not want to deprive itself of one of its best players, especially in view of the goal of returning to the top flight in the shortest possible time, but the player’s contract expires in the summer of 2024, so Milan could aim to bring the price down.
