Molin presented the challenge with Treviso

Dolomiti Energia Trentino coach Lele Molin spoke ahead of the challenge scheduled for Sunday, October 9, when the Bianconeri team will host NutriBullet Treviso.

Both hosts and guests are coming off a loss on the first day of the championship: Molin’s men were outplayed by Tortona while the Venetians surrendered to Reggio Emilia.

“On Sunday two teams will take the court who want to make theirs that result that both missed on the first day: we returned from Tortona with a bitter taste in our mouths, I imagine that Treviso also came out disappointed from the home challenge against Reggio Emilia. We are a new team that showed some values and qualities, but still need the support of the home crowd to grow and gain confidence and awareness. We need to make our field a difficult ground to conquer: Sunday is our first chance. The premises are good, because the boys from day one have had the right approach, the one we wished we had. We are happy with where we are today, in the growth path of the team, but now the work has to materialize, everything has to be channeled in the right direction. We have to continue on this path. Banks? Of Treviso more than an individual player, who although traditionally in Trento as an opponent has always played excellent games, I fear the desire to react after the loss against Reggio Emilia. We absolutely cannot afford to underestimate them either as individuals or as a group. It will be crucial for us to attack with patience, and to try to put on the court for 40 minutes the defense that in the first half of last Sunday’s game had forced a very good team like Tortona to just 29 points scored,” Trento’s coach said.
