F1, Carlos Sainz still upset: ‘In the hands of God’
Spaniard surprised by presence of tractors
Carlos Sainz ran into the wall early in the Japanese Grand Prix, complicit in aquaplaning. The Spaniard recounted what happened to him on the track, “These are things that happen in these davevro complicated conditions. I couldn’t see anything when I came out of the slipstream but I found water and ended up in the wall.”
The Ferrarista is lucid in analyzing the risk he took: “The problem is that I stayed in the middle of the post. You are in God’s hands in those moments. Anything can happen. The tractors on the track? We are surprised that this happens, it can cause accidents,” his words to Sky Sports.
