Belgium’s Gianni Vermeersch won the first-ever World Gravel Championship, which saw the finish in Cittadella at the end of the 190-kilometer race.
Vermeersch beat our Daniel Oss (+ 43″) and Dutchman Mathieu Van der Poel (1’28”). Italy also saw 7th place for Alessandro Demarchi and 9th for Davide Ballerini.
