On the occasion of the media-day organized in Milan by Fisi Dorothea Wierer spoke with Sportal.it. And she explained why she decided to extend her career, to the delight of her many fans and more generally of Italian sports fans.
“I thought about it a lot, already last season, together with my family, together with my husband,” the biathlete recounted. “In the end, the answer came from the heart, because I like this life, even if it is difficult and there are many sacrifices. And the results achieved last season gave me even more motivation to continue.”
“Winning again? I don’t know. Making podiums? May be, we will see as we go along,” added the phenomenal South Tyrolean.
