Ahead of the Eurocup debut against Joventut Badalona, scheduled for Tuesday, October 11 at 8:45 p.m., Alessandro Magro, coach of Germani Brescia, spoke.

The coach of Brescia began as follows, “We are happy to have won our first home game in the league, the one with Varese is a game that gives us confidence that gives us many cues on which to work and grow. From now on we can try to grow through few practices, many trips and many games. We are really excited and happy to return to play such a prestigious competition as the EuroCup: the desire to go and play our cards is very high, even if our debut will be on a very difficult court and against a team that has been built to compete until the end.”

“Badalona is an experienced, very physical team that can count on a hot court,” Germani’s coach continued. “Joventut has players who have the experience to play high-level basketball in this type of competition, such as Tomic and Ribas. It can count on great scorers on its roster, such as Kyle Guy, and it is a team that has great physical size and often chooses to play with three players who can impose their physicality. We don’t know if Jarrod Jones will be in the game, however, we do know that we are in for a game that will test us and put a lot of stress on us from a physical standpoint, just as the championship debut match in Milan was.”

“We are really looking forward to starting this new experience,” Magro concluded. “We have tried to prepare the game as best we can, also analyzing the mistakes we made in the game with Varese. The EuroCup will be a competition that will give us a lot of feedback and make us grow as a team, and we want to approach it to try to honor it and compete to the best of our ability.”
