Tennis, Dominic Thiem has one goal in mind
“I have a big goal in mind: to finish the year in the top 100,” said the tennis player.
Dominic Thiem, an Austrian tennis player born in 1993, beat Portugal’s Joao Sousa in the first round of the ATP 250 tournament in Gijon with a clean 6-2, 6-0. After the match he made some statements.
At first Thiem expressed his feelings after the match played, “I feel great. It was probably my best match in a long time. I managed to maintain a very good level from the first to the last point. I moved very well, I seemed very fast all over the court, hitting with a lot of power, but also with a lot of confidence on both sides of the court. I am very happy with the way I played today.”
“I have a big goal in mind: to finish the year in the top 100. It would be great to reach this goal. I’m totally focused on every match, on this tournament, but I still need a lot of points in order to reach this goal. I need wins and good matches to reach it, so I’m working very hard and totally focused,” he added.
