Emma Raducanu, endless crisis: yet another breakthrough
British tennis player Emma Raducanu has changed her fourth coach in 18 months
The crisis continues for Emma Raducanu, who is still struggling to find herself after her Us Open victory a year ago. The young British hopeful has fired Dmitry Tursunov: he is the fourth coach to jump in just 18 months.
Ubitennis reports: the 19-year-old tennis player from 2023 will be managed by Jez Green, who has previously worked with Andy Murray and Alexander Zverev. Raducanu has lost 19 times this season, and now occupies the 68th position in the WTA rankings (she was ranked 10th last July).
The term WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) refers to that association that brings together all female professional tennis players from all corners of the world. The WTA, like the ATP, has as its main objective the organization and management of all WTA events, as well as the compilation of the ranking, called the WTA ranking.
