After Green’s public apology, the case is back on (albeit partially). Kerr, coach of the Warriors, decided to give the All Star a second chance after the latter hit, in practice, teammate Poole with a punch to the face (the video went viral).
“There’s no way not to think about it. Our image has been damaged. Now he has to work to repair the damage he caused. He broke our trust but I give him the benefit of the doubt,” the Golden State coach’s words reported by ESPN, which, in fact, reinstated Green but with reservations. He will have to regain the trust of the group on the court.
