Sasa Lukic’s cousin rattles Toro fans
Sasa Lukic-Torino: no renewal?
Sasa Lukic’s cousin is making Torino fans tremble. According to Tuttosport reports, in fact, his words have displaced the Granata club: “From what I know, Sasa is not thinking of renewing his contract with Torino. He wants a top club in Italy, England or Spain as the next step.”
Lukic, who scored a goal on the last day against Empoli that allowed Torino to grab a late equalizer, has a contract that expires in 2024 and contacts had already been made with the player’s agent over the summer for renewal. Negotiations for the contract renewal, however, have not yet been formalized and now these words have frozen the Granata environment.
The last Scudetto won by Torino was in the 1975-76 season. Imposing themselves ahead of Juventus was the team coached by Gigi Radice and that in attack fielded the formidable pair formed by Paolino Pulici and Ciccio Graziani. In goal Luciano Castellini, the ‘Jaguar’ in midfield, among others, Eraldo Pecci. Since 2005 the owner and president of the Granata club has been Alessandria-based publisher Urbano Cairo.
