For the French centaur, it’s a five-way race

Fabio Quartararo, reigning world champion, spoke at the press conference ahead of the Philip Island weekend. The Yamaha centaur spoke about the fight for the championship, considering it more open than ever.

“I want to look race by race. We are almost even with Pecco, but Aleix, Bastianini and Miller are also in the race. It’s like being at the beginning of the championship. This race could be positive for us. Last year’s title gives me confidence and experience and helps me keep calm,” explained the French rider.

“It’s one of my favorite tracks Phillip Island. I don’t have much experience here, but I’m looking forward to getting back on track,” continued Fabio Quartararo.

The Yamaha rider is leading the championship standings by two points ahead of Ducatista Pecco Bagnaia. The other riders still in the running are Aleix Espargaró on an Aprilia, Enea Bastianini for the Gresini team and the other Ducati representative, Jack Miller.
