Valentino Rossi: Marc Marquez adamant about ninth title
Honda centaur Marc Marquez says he is not obsessed with winning the ninth title and equaling Valentino Rossi: “I’m a new Marc, it may be that I will win it, we’ll see.”
Marc Marquez in an interview with MotoGp.com talked about his return to the track and his future ambitions, “Ending my career was one of the options, only with passion can you keep your motivation up. I can’t sit quietly on the couch to stay and watch. I still feel part of MotoGp and this world and I feel that my level is still high.”
The Honda centaur assured that what motivates him is neither the ninth title goal nor the possibility of equaling Valentino Rossi in this way: “I have changed, I have learned many things, after difficult moments you become stronger, as a person, as a character, as a mentality. This is a new Marc, who in the end is the same Marc, but simply has more experience. Now I have a new motivation. I am not obsessed with the idea of winning another World Championship. It may be, but we will only see in the future.”
