F1, unveiled who will blow Mick Schumacher’s seat
Haas boss Steiner frosts Schumacher: “We are negotiating with Nico Hulkenberg, although nothing is official yet.”
A confirmation of Mick Schumacher at Haas is receding: team principal Gunther Steiner in an interview with RTL revealed that the U.S. team is negotiating with Nico Hulkenberg.
“Yes, I have talked to him. I’ve known Nico for a long time, better than I know Daniel. We are talking, but nothing has been done yet,” the words to RTL. Steiner a few days ago had remained open to the possibility of a renewal for the seven-time world champion’s son, even though the team’s boss, Gene Haas, had been very hard on the German: “If you bring us points and you’re Verstappen and you destroy cars we’ll get over it. But if you are in the back and you destroy cars, then it becomes very difficult.”
