MotoGp Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia prey to tension: ‘I’m human’
Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia: “I had the third time almost assured, in the race I will try to go up again”
Pecco Bagnaia cannot say he was satisfied with his ninth-place finish in qualifying at the Sepang GP: “The third free practice session and Q1 didn’t go badly, although I have to admit I did everything I could to try to ruin my day. I’m human and I’m starting to feel the pressure. In fact, I got angry about what happened with Fabio and Franco, I pushed too hard in Turn 4 and crashed. I have to learn how to handle these situations, it was not necessary to force because I had the third time almost assured.”
On his fall in Q2: “I slipped because I was forcing. I wanted at all costs to start on the front row, although rationally speaking, in Sepang starting from the third row is less penalizing than elsewhere. You can take advantage of the long straight to make up ground right away. I think the other Ducatis will try to get away, while I will have to have a smart race and avoid mistakes.”
