Reggio Emilia, there is a player at risk of being cut
Movements in Reggio Emilia
According to reports in Il Resto del Carlino, Pallacanestro Reggiana is set to return to the market after the derby against Virtus Bologna, when there will be a break for national teams.
At risk would be in particular the position of Kassius Robertson, to whom the club has entrusted a very important role. Landed this summer in Reggio, the Canadian guard is disappointing expectations. Robertson so far is traveling at an average of 11 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, affecting little offensively and struggling too much defensively. The feeling is that the role he should play in the Emilian club is too ‘big’ for him.
Eyes are also on Sacar Anim and DJ Funderburk in the red and white house. The former, however, has such physicality that he can benefit the team much more and in his defense has much more room for growth than Robertson, an already ‘built’ player. The latter first of all is not a starter, having Reuvers in front of him, and still hints at some signs of improvement.
