Matteo Berrettini forfeits Paris-Bercy as well
Matteo Berrettini skips last Masters 1000 of the season
Despite his eagerness to get back on the court and get the best possible result in the last Masters 1000 of the 2022 ATP Circuit season, Matteo Berrettini is forced to forfeit and will therefore not participate in the Paris-Bercy tournament.
Berrettini, who is recovering from a foot injury suffered during the Naples tournament (in which he reached the final before being defeated by Lorenzo Musetti) had already forfeited the Vienna ATP, played in the week ending today.
For the 26-year-old, therefore, a season finale without any major highlights is looming: in addition to the physical problems, his elimination from the Race to the 2022 ATP Finals is in fact arithmetic.
