Lorenzo Musetti spoke at a press conference after his victory over Chak Lam Coleman Wong, defeated in two sets (6-4 7-5), in the first round of the Hong Kong ATP 250. The Carrara-based tennis player will face Russia's Pavel Kotov, who overcame Portugal's Nuno Borges, in the challenge for the round of 16.
“&It was quite nice to play my first match of 2024 in a city I had never been to before,” admitted the Italian. “It was my first time in Hong Kong and I enjoyed the atmosphere present in the stands. Obviously against Coleman( Wong, ed.) the audience was not on my side, but I think it is fair.
"He played a great match, especially in the final part he fought hard,” he added. He served really well. I didn’t know him well before the match. I can say that è he is a good person and a very good player. I think he will have a bright future ahead of him, and I wish him good luck".
