MotoGp Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia is not in the skin: his message
Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia ready for Valencia Sunday: ‘This is it’.
It has opened what may become the most important week of his career for Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia, who on social media charged the environment with a tweet: “Race week, here we go,” he wrote, posting a photo of a hug with his team of mechanics.
The Piedmontese centaur is one step away from becoming the first Italian to win the MotoGP premier class world championship on an Italian bike since Giacono Agostini. Not even master Valentino Rossi had succeeded in the feat: Bagnaia needs only two points to crown the splendid second half of the MotoGp World Championship season, which saw him climb from -91 to +23 over Fabio Quartararo thanks to an impressive series of wins and podiums, after a start to the season that was anything but positive.
Also in Valencia for the last race of the year will be Valentino Rossi. Sunday could also turn into a party for Ducati, which with Bagnaia’s victory would celebrate a hat trick in the riders, teams and manufacturers’ standings.
