Paul Banchero seems to have made up his mind

Paolo Banchero seems to have broken his mind about his future. “I plan to play for the Italian national team, I don’t know when. I haven’t been there yet but the amount of love I get from there is crazy. I can’t wait to go to Italy,” he said during the “Young Person” broadcast.

“I, the head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco and the general manager of the national team, Salvatore Trainotti, will travel to the United States to speak directly with the athlete,” Gianni Petrucci told Repubblica a few days ago. “The last contacts were positive, but they go back four to five months ago with his father. We will talk with Paolo and the club, but we remain hopeful. From the bureaucratic point of view, Banchero’s situation is settled, he has an Italian passport and is quietly convocable.
