The victory over Derthona, so far undefeated in the Basketball League Serie A, brought back enthusiasm to Brindisi, which was coming off a double defeat: in the Europe Cup against the Ukrainians of Budivelnik and in the league against Pallacanestro Reggiana.

President Fernando Marino also showed all his happiness for this important success, releasing some statements to the Quotidiano di Puglia: “Tortona is a very good team, which I certainly don’t discover, even here in Brindisi they showed it. It was a very intense game, we strongly wanted the victory, we looked for it for all 40 minutes and in the end we managed to make it ours.”
